Check deletion progress

When deleting a dataset or collection takes time, a cleanup panel appears at the bottom right of the screen. You can continue working on other screens while the panel remains open.

Check progress

A cleanup panel appears for each target when deletion begins. If you delete multiple items, the panels stack vertically.

  • Deleting dataset: Shows progress for one dataset.
  • Deleting collection: Shows overall progress for the collection and its child datasets.
  • Progress status: Marks each item as Pending / Complete / Failed / Skipped.

Expand a dataset panel to view step-level results and error details.

Handle completion and failure

  • When all work finishes, the panel closes automatically after three seconds.
  • If any work fails, the panel remains open.
  • A failed item displays an error description. There is no separate retry button.

If only some assets in a collection fail to delete, the failed assets may remain even though the collection disappears from the list. Check the cleanup panel for the number of failed datasets and their error details.

Reusing a name immediately after deletion

Creating an asset with the same name before cleanup finishes can cause a name conflict. Wait until the panel shows completion before creating the asset.

The panel remains visible when you navigate between pages, but it disappears if you refresh the browser.
