Creating Collections
Use the Collection Wizard to systematically create new collections.
Starting the Creation Wizard
- Click the + Collection button at the top left of the collection page, or click the Create Collection button on the empty right panel.
- The Create New Collection dialog opens.
Creation Steps
The wizard consists of 3 steps.
Step 1: Basic Info

Enter the collection's identifying information.
- Name: A unique name for the collection. (Required; lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores recommended)
- Alias: A display name shown to users.
- Description: A description of the collection's purpose or content.
- Tags: Tags for search and classification.
Click the AI button next to the input fields to get automatic suggestions for the description, alias, and tags based on the name you entered. You can also use the Generate All button to fill all fields at once.
Step 2: Select Items
You can add initial items simultaneously when creating a collection.
- Search Existing Items: Use the search bar to find and select previously created datasets, codes, pipelines, and knowledge.
- Create New Items: If needed, click the Create New button to instantly create new items based on templates and add them to the list.
Step 3: Review
Review the entered information and selected item list for final confirmation. If modifications are needed, go back using the Previous button.
Once all information is correct, click the Create button to create the collection.
After Creation
Once creation is complete, the new collection appears in the left tree list, and you are automatically navigated to that collection's detail screen.
